Christmas is just around the corner so I thought I'd put together a few gift guides to give you some inspiration. It can be so hard to pick the right thing for the people you love, so hopefully this sparks a few ideas if you're stuck!
Since there was such a great response to my recent post showing some Bloom outtakes by George Muncey, I thought I’d show you some more outtakes! I also set up a photoshoot with my friend Ollie Ali because I wanted to make sure I had lots of photographs to choose from when putting my book together. George and Ollie have quite different photographic styles, so it’s really interesting looking at how each person interpreted the ‘brief’ I gave them.
This shoot was actually a couple of days before my shoot with George, so I was super excited because it was my first shoot for Bloom. Ollie is absolutely lovely and made sure there were loads of snacks around (yes, these are the things I remember), we popped on the music and started! I genuinely didn’t know what to expect with these photos, but when Ollie sent them through I was absolutely in love! I look so like a professional boss lady and it’s awesome!
You might notice one of Ollie’s photos in Bloom (comment down below if you find it!), but I wish we could have put in more!
LUCY WILLIAMS X MISSOMA
If you’re not yet familiar with my good friend Lucy Williams I urge you to stop what you’re doing, drop everything and stalk her Instagram right this second. Lucy is not only one of the most genuinely lovely people that I know, she’s also undoubtedly one of the coolest. Her effortlessly timeless sense of style and strong eye for photography are just a few of the reasons why I find myself fangirling over her all too often. Her blog Fashion Me Now is nothing short of stunning; a guaranteed treat for the eyes with every post, Lucy’s site is one that I visit on the daily. As badass chicks go, Lucy is up there at the top of the list. Goals.
If like me you’re a regular stalker of Lucy’s social media, you’ll have already recognised that this girl knows a good piece of jewellery. Luckily for us, this year Lucy and London based jewellery brand Missoma have joined forces to produce arguably one of the most beautiful jewellery collections that I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Inspired by natural treasures and Lucy’s love for travelling, this 25 piece collection embodies everything you could ever wish to find in your jewellery box. With the collection including gold, silver and rose gold pieces-there’s something for everyone. As you guys may know I’m a sucker for anything gold, so when Lucy sent me three of these super cool gold necklaces I couldn’t believe my luck. They are b-e-a-uuuutiful!!
The thing that I love the most about these necklaces is that you can mix and match them however you like, I love to layer my jewellery and the different lengths of these chains means that I can stack them up without it looking too messy or too much. At the moment I’ve been loving wearing the Fanged Horn Necklace with the Shark Tooth Necklace, I find that this combo looks great over a turtle neck jumper and adds something special to a more basic outfit. I’ve had my eye on the Mini Fang Bracelet for a while now so I think it’s about time that I added that beauty to my jewellery collection…Aslan are you listening!?
Definitely check out the Lucy Williams x Missoma collaboration if you haven’t already, I guarantee you’ll find yourself falling in love with something from the collection. I think my favourite is still the Mini Fang Necklace. I’d love to know what your favourite pieces are and how you would style them!
#BLOOMBOOK OUTTAKES: GEORGE MUNCEY
Now that my book Bloom: Navigating Life and Style has been out for just over a month, I decided it would be fun to share some of the behind the scenes shots and unseen photos from the cover shoot day. All of these photos are unedited and taken by my good friend George Muncey. I have admired George’s photographs ever since I first saw them and I knew I wanted him to take some pictures to be in the running for the cover of Bloom! As you all know now, his photograph is indeed on the cover.
On the day of the shoot it was pouring rain, but I grabbed loads of outfits and headed over to my friend Harry Hitchen’s flat, which he graciously lent us for the day. If I’m being honest I wasn’t really in the mood to have my photo taken, but I felt super comfortable around George and we decided to take a few pictures just for the hell of it. In my head I was thinking we’d have to have another shoot day because I wasn’t feeling my most peppy, but I’m glad I stuck with it because I think lots of these photos did work out.
The reason I decided on one of these images for the cover was because I felt that it truly represented me. The pink sweater I’m wearing (from IGWT) was never supposed to be on the cover-it’s just what I wore to the shoot. All of the shots with the pink sweater were just test shots and a bit of fun to get me into the groove. I wasn’t trying to be anything I wasn’t and I feel like the photos really represent who I am and express my energy.
It was such a great experience hanging out with Aslan and George. I didn’t feel rushed, I didn’t feel any pressure whatsoever and I was genuinely just feeling relaxed as these photos were being taken, which is sometimes hard when there’s a camera pointing at you!
I hope you enjoyed seeing some behind the scenes photos from this day.
You can order Bloom now if you want to read more about my self discovery journey.
Giorgio Armani Lip Magnets + Swatches
A slick of colour.
This post is sponsored by Armani Beauty.
As many of you know, I never feel complete without a slick of lip colour, so naturally when I received a box containing 18 shades of Giorgio Armani’s new Lip Magnet range, I couldn’t wait to give them a whirl! Inspired by two of Armani Beauty’s most iconic products; the Maestro Fusion Foundation, which gives it that ultra-thin ‘barely there’ feel, along with the colour intensity of the Lip Maestro Velvet Lip Colour, the Lip Magnets give me the pop of colour I crave while still feeling lightweight and hydrating on my lips. I’ve fallen head-over-heels in love with these beauties and I guarantee you will too. The matte finish, vibrant colour and longevity of these liquid lip colours are just a few of the reasons why I reach for one of the Lip Magnets to finish off my look most days.
Let’s just take a minute to appreciate how beautiful each and every one of the 18 shades really is. I couldn’t help but ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ each time I unscrewed the lid to a new Lip Magnet, they’re all satisfyingly intense in colour. Within the 18 shades there are 3 sunny corals, 4 passionate reds, 8 pinks and 3 chic plums, so there really is a shade for every mood and every occasion. No matter where you are or what you’re doing, pop one of these in your bag and you’re guaranteed to look selfie-ready at every opportunity.
For me, the thing that solidified my love for these beauties even more was the fact that even after hours of wear and a whole plate of tacos, my lips still looked perfect. TACOS MY FRIEND, can you believe it? We all know that tacos are up there in the top 10 list of messiest things to eat (and there’s no polite way to eat one, am I right?) so the fact that my lipstick didn’t budge after our trip to Wahaca only instills my faith even further that these babies do exactly what they say on the tin. 8 hours of perfectly defined, hydrated wear? Absolutely.
As the leaves in London start falling and the chill in the air gets that little bit nippier everyday, my lip colour in turn gets deeper and darker. Combining a slick of one of the luscious berry shades with a pair of my most ‘don’t talk to me’ sunglasses makes me feel like the ultimate badass about town.
I’m wearing shade 601-Attitude!

WELCOME TO MY HOME
A reflection of who you are.
Your home is a reflection of who you are.
I wanted to share with you a glimpse into our home. I spend a lot of time at home because I work here all day, so Aslan and I have worked very hard to make it a special place. There are a lot of things I love about our home, but I focused on ten of them in this video which will hopefully give you a bit of insight into our space as well as some interior inspiration.
