Blue Accents

More blue in your room12th May 2016 - Interiors

Can you tell I’m into the colour blue lately? I was in need of some more colour in my office in the form of a few little knick knacks, so I thought I’d share with you what I got! All of the items are from Att Pynta which is an affordable interiors site with that Scandinavian simplicity we all love. I especially love their lighting but sadly I have no place to put any of those killer bulbs.

Limited Edition Nightblooming Candle
My obsession with candles is real and this one ticks all of the boxes for me! The packaging is gorgeous and it’s actually hand poured here in London. It smells like bergamot, neroli and ylang with notes of jasmine, narcisse, gardenia, orchid and orange blossom. It also has a bit of a musky/woody scent though.

Fruit Bowl
I suppose this is technically a fruit bowl, but for the moment I’m using it to store my scented crystals which is basically a version of potpourri. These are handmade in Sweden, so each bowl is going to look a little bit different. I love the raw edges and of course that pop of bright blue!

(That eye mirror in the background is the bomb).

Aqua Glazed Plant Pot
Sadly this plant pot is still empty because I don’t have one to put inside it. I’m heading to the nursery soon to get some more mini cacti which I think will look adorable in this blue planter. You could also put cut flowers in here which would look gorgeous in the middle of a table.

Aqua Glazed Plant Hanger with Wooden Bead Detail
I already have a hanging planter like this in my office, but I wanted to get a second one to hang beside it. Hanging a planter from the ceiling is such a cool way to add some greenery to a room and I love the wooden beads on this planter.

If you’re trying to redecorate your space I highly recommend this site. They have loads of unique items that will add a really modern feel to your space. I think I’m going to tackle my bedroom next so let me know if you’d like to see a post about the simple things I’m going to do to spruce it up!

I love this! You have such a great interior style. I’m looking forward to redecorating my apartment throughout the summer, as i’ve grown out of my old style. So I’m loving interior inspiration right now!

  • Yesss more interior posts please!! <3 You have such great taste with interior and decorative items. Love the mix of polished and handmade items here, esp the first photo – that glazed porcelain vase on those 3 raw edged coasters (swooooon). I'm on the homepage of attpynta and I already want to buy everything.. :3

  • The aqua plant pot is super cute! Especially for succulents.

  • Is that an earring I see in the pic of the bowl with crystals? Or am I seeing things? Lovely decor and pictures.

    • I can see what you mean, but it’s not an earring, I have no idea what it is actually, haha!

  • I love anything blue!

  • Aren’t they amazing?!

  • It’s a great addition to the room, even if it has a plant in it or not!

  • Ooo I’ll have to check Oliver Bonas out 🙂

  • Just make sure to get a hanging pot which doesn’t have holes in the bottom as I’ve made that mistake in the past!
