AN INTRODUCTION TO TATA HARPER

15th May 2017 - Beauty

Tata Harper is a very chic brand when it comes to luxury skincare, and since I recently talked about my favourite affordable drugstore skincare products (check out the post here) I thought I’d put together a post about a range that feels a little bit more special. Tata Harper’s collection is slightly more on the pricey side of things, but if you’re looking to build up your collection of luxury skincare products then Tata Harper is a great place to start. What’s great about Tata Harper is that they only use 100% natural and non-toxic ingredients in their products. Let me tell you a little bit about some of the Tata Harper products that I’m totally obsessed with and a few that are new to my collection.

Face mists are a product that I use on a daily basis (if you’re a regular visitor to my blog you will probably have heard me talk about the Tatcha ‘Dewy Skin Mist’ on more than one occasion!) and the Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence is one that I’m completely adore. I love using face mists because my skin can tend to feel quite dry throughout the day, so pumping a spritz or two of a hydrating mist onto my face makes me feel super refreshed and gives my skin the boost of moisture that it needs. You can either use this stuff on a bare face or over the top of your makeup. Give this one a go if you’re mist-mad like me (this is my third bottle)!

Most of you will know by now that face masks are my thang (yes, I said thang) and the Tata Harper ‘Resurfacing Mask’ is one of my fave masks in my collection (although I just used up the last little bit). The thing that’s great about this mask is that its suitable for all skin types, so even those of you who suffer with sensitive skin (like me) can use this stuff knowing that its going to be kind on your complexion. This mask is great if you’re prone to uneven skin tone because it works to gently resurface the skin by getting rid of any dead or damaged surface skin cells. What makes me love the Resurfacing Mask even more is that its also brilliant at improving the appearance of scars and blemishes, so for any of you guys who might be suffering with acne scars, I’d say that this mask is definitely worth a try.

A new mask to my collection is the Tata Harper ‘Purifying Mask’, a deep cleansing and detoxifying mask which is supposed to be great at refreshing your skin by getting rid of any impurities. The Purifying Mask gives a super deep cleanse so this is a mask that I like to save for when my skin needs a little TLC. I’ll keep you posted on this one!

As someone who suffers with anxiety, scent is often something that I’ll turn to whenever I feel the need to calm my nerves. The Tata Harper ‘Love Potion’ is exactly the kind of product that I like to use when I feel myself starting to get anxious. The Love Potion is an aromatherapeutic blend of essential oils which has been designed to encourage positivity and dispel any negative thoughts from your mind. I’m not sure whether the results are proven, but for me, applying a mix of essential oils like this one does a good job at relaxing me and making me feel more at ease with a situation. To apply it, I just spray a couple of pumps onto my pulse points (pulse points include the insides of the wrists, sides of the neck etc.) and take a few deep breaths. Not only does this fragrance help to soothe me, it also smells super dreamy! Its top notes of orange peel, grapefruit and ylang ylang make the Love Potion feel wonderfully light and fruity, while the undertones of sandalwood, jasmine and frankincense give it that gorgeously warm, calming fragrance. Great for nervous flyers!

If you’re on the market for a luxury eye cream to add to your skincare collection then you NEED to check out the Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Cream because it’s uhhhhmazing! If ever I’ve had a bad nights sleep or I’m feeling a little groggy first thing in the morning, all I need to do is apply a thin layer of the Illuminating Eye Cream on my upper and lower lids and I’ll look instantly more awake. What’s cool about this stuff is that you can also press a thin layer over the top of your concealer for a touch of added radiance. This eye cream is definitely up there on the pricey side of the spectrum (probably due to the fact that there is diamond dust in the formula…yes DIAMOND DUST!) but trust me when I say that this stuff is special. The cream itself is gorgeously rich and also has a subtle peachy tint which helps to disguise those pesky dark circles. All in all, I love this stuff!

I’m completely in love with the entire Tata Harper range and I’m definitely excited to build up more of a collection over time. I don’t even feel the need to talk about the absolutely stunning packaging because it’s obviously some of the most gorgeous skincare ever made. J’adore! Let me know if you’ve tried any of the Tata Harper skincare products, I’d love to know which ones are your favourites and if there’s any that you think I NEED to try next!

‘slightly more on the pricey side of things,’ – understatement of the year. I know these are amazing products, and CH sings praises of the range, but even she admitted that it is out of the price range of most people.
