Much like most people these days, I’m completely in lust with all-things Jo Malone. Perfumes, hand creams, candles and diffusers; you name it, I’m obsessed with it. Jo Malone fragrances always feel so luxurious and whenever I strike a match and light the wick on my favourite candle or spritz some of my favourite cologne onto my neck, my mood is instantly lifted. The other week I received a very exciting package in the mail from the lovely team at Jo Malone and I was so in AWE of what was inside that I just had to snap a few pics and show you guys. Jo Malone were kind enough to send me a box containing a miniature set of their stunning collection of ‘Rare Tea’ colognes and I’m in love with every single one of them.

You guys know that I’m crazy about tea, I actually recently implemented a restriction on the amount of cups that I’m allowed to drink per day (I swear my blood is just 100% tea) so when I opened up the gorgeous Jo Malone packaging and saw what lied within the box, I couldn’t believe my eyes! The next best thing to drinking tea is smelling like it, right!? The Rare Tea collection is simply stunning! Inspired by the ancient art of the Tea Master, the collection has been condensed into six rare tea fragrances and each one of them is incredible.

Within the six fragrances are ‘Oolong Tea’, ‘Darjeeling Tea’, ‘Silver Needle Tea‘, ‘Jade Leaf Tea’, Midnight Black Tea and ‘Golden Needle Tea’. It’s hard for me to pick a favourite but the ‘Darjeeling’ cologne is the scent that I’m drawn to the most. The ‘Darjeeling Tea’ fragrance is gorgeously sweet with its notes of juicy apricot, but it also has a lovely floral side to it thanks to the jasmine absolute and zesty freesia within the scent. What makes this cologne even cooler is that it was inspired by the very first buds of Spring arriving in the foothills of the Himalayas where this ancient art originates. Alongside the ‘Darjeeling’ scent I also love the ‘Oolong Tea’ cologne. This cologne has a wonderfully woody scent with a hint of smokiness. Its notes of cocoa and almond help to soften the tobacco undertone. ‘Oolong’ is a great choice for those of you who love something with a bit more depth. If you’re into floral scents, then ‘Darjeeling’ is definitely the one for you.

If you’re a die hard Jo Malone fan then you DEFINITELY need to get your hands on one of these gorgeous Rare Tea Colognes. You can buy them individually or you can get the miniatures set like I have so you can try them all.  If you’re a total tea addict like me then I have no doubt that you’ll fall in love with every single one of the scents in this collection. These colognes are definitely on the more pricey side of the spectrum, but the notes within the fragrances are so unique and luxurious and it would be a great gift item. Let me know if you’re keen to try out any of the colognes from the Rare Tea range. If you’ve given any of these scents a whirl then let me know in the comments down below which ones are your favourites! Also let me know what your favourite kind of tea is!
