OCTOBER INSTAGRAM OUTFITS

A SLICE OF PARADISE

A few weekends ago Aslan and I spent the weekend exploring sunny Santorini and we had the most amazing time! Santorini is 100% one of the most beautiful places I’ve EVER visited and it was absolutely lovely to be able to spend a couple of days soaking up the glorious weather. This is one of my favourite outfits from the trip, although I actually had to change right after taking this photo because it was waaaaayyy to windy to wear a dress with a slit that high (pretty sure everyone at the hotel saw my bum lol!) This dress is by a brand called Rixo London (you might remember that I wore > this < amazing Rixo number to the Glamour Awards) and I absolutely adore it! This dress is made out of the softest, silkiest material EVER and I luuurrve the beautiful orange-red colour, I feel like it really suits my pale skin tone! On this occasion I decided to accessorise the dress with my favourite bamboo bag by Cult Gaia and a classic pair of nude sandals. Of course I finished the look off with a pair of statement gold earrings from the new Lucy Williams X Missoma collection which I’m obsessed with. I really wish it hadn’t been so windy that night because I absolutely adore this dress! I guess I’ll just have to find another occasion to wear it to! P.s. SUN-DRENCHED

Some of you might have noticed that I’ve become a liiiitttle bit (ok a LOT) obsessed with a brand called Paloma Wool recently because I literally cannot stop wearing their stuff! I wore this cute wrap-around ‘Flipa’ top on our last day in Santorini and I WISH London wasn’t absolutely freezing right now because I want to wear this every day! I actually have a pink version and a green version of this top (told you I was obsessed) but I decided to go for this one because I loved the way the blush colour looked with my super vibrant bubblegum pink Gucci Marmont bag! I decided to keep the rest of my outfit casual with a pair of my comfiest distressed denim jeans by Frame and these amazing rope sandals by a brand called ‘Nomadic State of Mind’. You guys know I feel most ‘me’ when I’m wearing a simple jeans and top combo so I’ll definitely be reaching for these pieces again next summer.

BACK TO REALITY

Another Paloma Wool piece that I’ve been obsessed with is this beautiful embroidered linen shirt dress. I didn’t think it was possible to fall in love with an item of clothing UNTIL I saw this baby staring back at me from my computer screen (lol!) What I love about this shirt dress is that it has these super cute embroidered female nudes and snakes all over it – super cute right? I’ve been really enjoying pairing this with some high waisted jeans underneath for extra warmth (in particular my Levis ‘wedgie’ jeans), but I’m also looking forward to wearing this in the summer with bare legs! I decided to stick with the all-white look and accessorised with a pair of Mansur Gavriel sling backs and my favourite Celine ‘belt’ bag. Also, can we take a minute to appreciate these amazing Celine ‘edge’ sunglasses? I think they’re the most badass looking sunnies I’ve EVER seen. They’re the ultimate ‘don’t talk to me’ sunglasses and I absolutely LOVE them!

COLOUR POP

I’ve never really been all that into the colour red but lately I’ve been enjoying adding a vibrant pop of colour to an otherwise monochrome outfit. I picked up this red sweater the other week and I’ve pretty much been wearing it non-stop ever since! I really like the way this sweater looks when it’s tucked into a pair of simple black trousers and these cuffed tailored joggers from ASOS are just the ticket. Here in London it’s *just about* warm enough to get away without wearing socks so I decided to make the most of the autumnal weather and slip on my trusty pair of Gucci ‘horsebit’ loafers. These loafers are pretty pricey but I always think it’s worth spending a little bit extra on a pair of shoes as these babies are going to last me years and years (they’re also so timeless that I feel like they will never go out of style!) I can’t find the link to the necklace that Aslan bought me but I did find this gorgeous gold one on the Missoma site. I’ve always been into wearing shorter chains but I love the way the gold looks against the red of my jumper. I’m such a summer baby but I have to say I’m enjoying playing around with my autumn wardrobe again!

Crunchy Leaves

Lately I’ve been love love LOVING this super cute ‘cool gang’ sweater by Sandro. In the colder months I’m all about wearing snuggly layers and I like to make sure that I have a few of those ‘easy to throw on’ statement sweaters that totally amp up an everyday casual outfit. This ‘cool gang’ one is sooooo soft and *just about* thin enough to tuck into a pair of trousers without feeling too bulky or bundled up. A classic, oversized leather jacket is my go-to for chilly autumn days like this. My jacket is by Acne and I can’t find the link for you guys but I did stumble upon > this < one on the Topshop site which looks pretty much identical! I also recently picked up this cute pair of patent leather boots by Whistles. I love these because they’re great at making an outfit look dressier but the heel is small enough to make them super duper comfortable and easy for everyday. Love them!

ONCE IN A LIFETIME

A couple of weeks back I was whisked away on a once in a lifetime trip with one of my all time favourite skincare brands, Fresh, and I had the most incredible time! I had never been to Cambodia before and I was soon excited to spend a few days exploring what the beautiful country had to offer. If you want to see what I got up to while we were out there definitely make sure you head over to my channel to watch my vlog and catch up on the blog post which I packed full with some of the photos that I snapped while we were out there, it was a truly magical trip. Before I left London I made it my mission to pick up a couple of summery bits from &OtherStories including this basic t-shirt dress which kept me nice and cool in the hot, humid air. I have a bit of an obsession with baskets at the moment (oops) so before the trip I also ordered this stunning round basket bag from Wood Grey to keep all my essentials in. I swear this looks like the most impractical bag ever but it was actually the perfect size to stuff all my necessities into.

AMONG THE LOTUS FLOWERS

The first day full of the Fresh trip was probably my fave as we got to spend the day SURROUNDED by lotus flowers. Since I knew we were going to be out in the sun all day I wanted to make sure I covered up my bod as much as I could (I burn WAY too easily lol) so I popped on a pair of super comfy trousers (these ones are by Citizens of Humanity) and a cute little white t-shirt. I picked up this basket bag at the market that morning so I can’t link you guys to this exact one but I did find a couple of basket-style beach bags on the ASOS site (like this one) which are just as adorable. Feeling the hand-woven vibe I decided to throw on my pair of rope sandals by Nomadic State of Mind as well as a sun hat for good measure. This was the best day everrrrrr!
