I don’t know about you, but Oliver Bonas is a shop that I find myself falling more and more in love with every time I stumble upon their website or step inside one of their stores. Oliver Bonas has been my go-to destination for gifts and token gestures for my friends and family for quite some time, but recently I received a beautiful package from them which opened my eyes to all the other wonderful bits and pieces that they have to offer. Their gorgeous new bath and body collection is truly beautiful (and at a great price point) and I’m so excited to share them with you. I wish that you guys could smell each one through the screen, but for now you’ll have to take my word for it and believe me when I say that every single one of the items that I’m about to mention smells INCREDIBLE. They’re super fragrant (but not too strong that they end up giving you a headache) and whenever I use something from this range the scent always makes me feel so calm and relaxed. Let me tell you about a few of my favourite products from the collection.

I’ve been a bath person for as long as I can remember, so it’s no surprise that the Grapefruit and Rosemary Bath Salts have quickly become my favourite product from the new collection. These salts not only smell heavenly, they also look absolutely beautiful! They’re probably the biggest bath salts I’ve ever seen and mixed in with the crystals are tiny delicate petals which make your bath look picture perfect. These salts feel super special and luxurious so I’ve been making sure that I don’t use them too often and save them for my “special baths”. All I do is sprinkle a small handful of the salts into the warm running water of my bath and make sure that the crystals have completely dissolved before stepping in. Something that makes these salts extra special is that they have an anti-inflammatory effect which helps to flush out any nasties from my pores. If you’re a bath person like me, make sure you give these a try!

Alongside a sprinkle of salts, I love to use a couple of splashes of scented oil in my bath. I love using oils in my bath because it adds something that feels super luxurious to the warm water, not only that, but using something that’s scented really helps to make me feel calm and relaxed. This Patchouli and Cedarwood bath oil is just the ticket. I like to add four or five drops into the running water before I get in. The beautiful sweet patchouli and cedarwood scent helps to ease my body and mind and leaves my skin feeling packed with moisture. If you’re new to bath oils, this is a great place to start!

Dry skin is something that I suffer with on a daily basis, so I’m always on the look out for the right lotions and potions that will help to make my skin look and feel silky smooth. Oliver Bonas kindly sent me one of their Grapefruit and Rosemary body creams, along with a pot of their Geranium and Sage hand cream. Both of these creams are super duper nourishing and as with everything from the new collection, they smell good enough to eat. The Grapefruit and Rosemary body cream is blended with shea and cocoa butters to make a formula that leaves my skin feeling hydrated and protected. This cream is gorgeously whipped and rich, so I like to use it as part of my evening routine to help my skin to recover from the harsh effects of the day. The Geranium and Sage hand cream is also quite heavy, so I tend to reach for this before I turn out the light at bed time. Whenever I’ve used this stuff before going to sleep my hands will always feel gorgeously soft come morning.

Speaking of dry skin, an exfoliating scrub is something that I make sure to always keep at arms reach during one of my spa nights. I love massaging scrubs into my skin while I’m in the bath, there’s something so satisfying about washing the granules away from my body and noticing how my dry patches have vanished in an instant. I’m quite fussy when it comes to scrubs because although I suffer with dryness, my skin is also quite sensitive, so it’s important for me to use a scrub that works but is also super gentle and nourishing. The Geranium and Sage sugar scrub is perfect for me, the granules are lovely and soft and really soak into my skin leaving it feeling smooth and refreshed. It contains heaps of nourishing ingredients like jojoba oil (one of my favourites), sunflower oil and fennel oil, along with natural sugars to create a sweet, earthy scrub. I’m in love with this stuff!

Those are just a few of the products from the beautiful Oliver Bonas bath and body collection. Let me know if you’ve tried any of the pieces that I’ve mentioned, I’d love to know if you think that they smell as scrumptious as I do! All this talk of bath time has me dying to go and spend an evening switching off in the tub and I hope that it’s inspired you to do the same. Enjoy!
